The seed of this song was planted while riding a bike along the winding bike paths on Venice Beach (Los Angeles). It came to me at a time when I had gotten tired of the B.S. drama in my life and the lyrics were in response to feeling like my peace of mind was constantly being interrupted despite my best efforts to float through the noise.

The song has an immediately familiar retro “cool girl” vibe to it. ”Cool girl” meaning a person who is over the bullshit in Trump's America during the year of our Lord 2020. They are not interested in having those rough edges-- their most interesting and unique traits, filed down so they can fit into a neat, little box.

I am enough. You are enough. And the person singing this song is letting you know that they are enough for themself and other opinions may exist, but wont be given much thought.
